Role Description: The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising the entire production process, ensuring that products are manufactured in compliance with the highest quality standards and current regulations. He/she will be responsible for the efficiency and optimization of production resources.
Main Tasks:
Supervise daily production, ensuring compliance with production plans, deadlines and quality standards. Optimize workflows and production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Manage the production team, including training, development and evaluation of staff. Ensure the correct supply of consumables and packaging material. Filling out the relevant forms. Movement of material through management software in order to guarantee product traceability. Periodic maintenance of production equipment. Collaborate with the R&D department to implement new technologies and optimize existing products. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Prepare detailed production reports for management. Qualifications and Skills:
Degree and/or Diploma in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry or related fields. Minimum of 5 years experience in production management roles in regulated environments, preferably in the biomaterials or medical devices sector. Strong organizational skills and leadership capabilities. Knowledge of ISO regulations related to medical devices. Able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Excellent laboratory tool usage skills. Able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changes. Fluent in Italian and English.
