Production Line - Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Line Supervisor to oversee and manage the production line in our state-of-the-art shipyard, specializing in the construction of luxury superyachts.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in maritime production, with specific experience in managing complex projects within the yachting industry.
This role requires a proactive leader with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to ensure that every step of the production process meets our exacting standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Supervision Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of skilled workers across various stages of the superyacht production line, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.Production Planning: Collaborate with the Production General Manager and other departments to develop and implement detailed production schedules, optimizing workflow and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure that all components and assemblies meet design specifications and quality standards, addressing any deviations promptly.Health Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on the production floor, conducting safety briefings and ensuring that all team members are trained in safe working practices.Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process, implementing solutions that minimize delays and maintain production continuity.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate production processes, suggesting and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall production quality.Reporting Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including daily progress reports, inventory usage, and any issues encountered, providing regular updates to the Production Manager.Team Development: Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the production team.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Production Line Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role within the maritime or superyacht industry.Extensive knowledge of yacht construction processes, materials, and quality standards.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations related to shipyard operations.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficient in the use of production management software and tools.Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical solutions.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Qualifications:Degree or certification in Naval Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field.Previous experience working on the production of superyachts or other high-end maritime vessels.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on world-class superyacht projects.A dynamic and innovative work environment.Professional growth and development opportunities.If you are a driven and detail-oriented professional with a passion for excellence in superyacht production, we invite you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.
