About the role The Head of Product Supply is responsible for leading procurement, logistics, facility, and fleet processes for the Italian organization.
The role is accountable for partnering with central functions and matching global guidelines and blueprints with local needs in order to support the country in meeting its business targets.
The position requires traveling to our hubs in Marche, Lombardia, Lazio, Veneto, and Emilia Romagna.
Main accountabilities: Function Strategy Partner with central functions to align the global functional strategy, blueprint, and guidelines with local needs.
Design the local functional strategy and execution plans (procurement, supply, purchasing, logistics, facility, fleet management).
Processes execution, monitoring, and improvement Responsible for executing functional plans and projects to support the development of the local market.
Analyze and improve functional processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Collect and share regular reports on relevant performance, including KPIs, cost analyses, and service metrics.
People Management Lead the team following people management best practices.
Act as a role model and align with company values.
Perform people management and people development initiatives.
Qualifications skills Extensive experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing, ideally in a fast-moving start-up/scale-up or an equally interesting industry or production environment.
Proven capacity to deliver results in a fast-changing and unclear environment.
Experience handling negotiations with top suppliers and managing complex supply chains, both internationally and within Italy.
Very good technical understanding and quality awareness.
Able to partner with global and local functions and counterparts.
Lead a team responsible for procurement and purchasing, warehousing and logistics, as well as all real estate topics.
Ability to move fast and build processes and relationships from scratch.
Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
