Position Summary We are looking for a Product Specialist Sterify, for HUFriedy Group Milan site.
He/she will manage the business unit's designated product categories in EMEA to ensure continued sales growth, increased profitability, and favour among dental professionals.
This includes strategic planning, in-depth product and clinical knowledge, product planning, line expansion, assist forecasting, competitive product comparison, and general financial analysis.
The position focuses on both tactical and strategic marketing and product management initiatives primarily for periodontal gel.
A key role is the growth and management of relationships with sales representatives, Key Opinion Leaders, and local influencers, and be recognized by all customers and the Sales team as the expert in Non-surgical Perio Care and Clinical application.
Drive results via either creation or delivery of clinical education content, by providing support in delivering lectures and education programs, and by working on business plans/sales strategy for key customers.
The Product Specialist will be proficient in the whole Periodontal care portfolio.
Duties Help define strategic direction and create the strategic business unit plan in coordination with the SBU leader.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the production process for products in assigned groups; with special emphasis on end users, clinical go-to-market strategy, lead-time, cost drivers, and margins.
Responsible for creating and developing informative, hands-on, training programs with end users, sales team, and internal support departments.
Obtain full knowledge of end-user product category and performance requirements and translate those into programs and identify new product development projects.
Lead new product development initiatives including test market evaluations, managing design control process and launch plan activities.
Develop and execute the successful launch of new category products through close collaboration with marketing and sales.
Strong knowledge and experience with clinical marketing fundamentals.
Develop with the communications team tactical promotion plans, ensure pricing guideline, compliance, follow-up implementation of promotions, and report measurement of results.
Duties - cont'd Answer product or sales questions that cannot be addressed by Customer Service.
Help ensure that information needed for Customer Service to answer questions is available on systems that meet the requirements of the user.
Support catalogue and on-line materials (website, digital content, etc.)
update and copy revision.
Write/edit copy for sales aids, training materials and all other written material associated with this product line.
Write basic copy for monthly reports and submit to SBU and sales leaders for consolidation and publication.
Monitor product sales, unit sales; design tactics to improve performance or exceed goals.
Support forecast annual needs, quarterly updates for assigned Product Line.
Know and follow ISO/CE requirements.
Act as "product owner" in internal development initiatives.
Attend and participate (i.e.
sell, conduct competitive surveillance and meet key product line influencers) at conventions within defined territories in accordance with SBU and sales leader.
Education Degree Bachelor's Degree Required Experience Knowledge of Non-surgical dental market.
Emerging "out of box" thinking that regularly demonstrates creativity, capitalizing on strategic product line (business) opportunities.
Could be good if has mastery of classic marketing skills (4 P's – Product, Price, Place, Promotion).
High energy, creative, positive.
Ability to efficiently participate in multiple projects at one time.
Ability to travel and impact international business along with the preparation work involved (trip reports, etc.).
Demonstrated skill at managing by influence and getting work done through others in non-reporting relationships.
Excellent presentation and training skills for both internal and external audiences.

Ability to manage a full product launch.
Ability to use communications tools and Quality Management Systems, SAP, Master Control or similar, content Management applications.
