Roles Objectives: As an Intern you will be part of our Initiatives Department in Philip Morris Manufacturing Technology Bologna S.p.A. and you will be reporting to the Supervisor Product Services.
The position will be based in Bologna.
In your role, you will join the Initiatives team supporting in managing the implementation of new/modified products within the Factory by ensuring the internal and external communication flow among all departments committed to new product development and industrialization.
Specific Responsibilities: Lead, plan, coordinate and execute new products' projects, modified products or packaging related projects, product maintenances and productivity inside operations and with central functions, in order to ensure that these projects are implemented on time, in a cost-effective manner according to all internal and external requirements.
Support Production to ensure all new products or changes in existing products are well understood and executed in line with product requirements.
Manage feasibility studies in order to validate factory capacity and technical capabilities to execute production of market projects, foresee and prevent potential problems that may occur during the production start-up and ensure communication flow between the different departments involved.
Analyze product features and direct material base and propose the standardization of products and materials, leading to the reduction of complexity and higher manufacturing performance, reduction of stock items, improved warehousing utilization and therefore to reduction of supply chain costs.
