For a Consultancy Firm we are looking for a Product & Service Designer to join the design team, to partner with the design leadership team in delivering outstanding experiences with a project/programme of work.
This person has broad experience across the spectrum of Design and has also had experience of leading large and complex programmes of work.
**Skills**:
- At least 5 years of experience in conceptualizing and designing digital products and services
- A deep understanding of UX/UI, Design Thinking and Agile methods
- Have a good understanding of planning, executing and implementing design thinking methodology
- Be facilitator of visions and perspectives for all discipline peers in creating a shared vision and understanding of projects using the lenses of viability, desirability and feasibility
- Be an expert communicator with empowering and educating your team and stakeholders on all things Design, taking project leaders on a journey to truly understand the value of service design
- Experience with managing products and services from concept to launch
- Framing the problem and finding opportunities as the cornerstone for a confident solution strategy that can accelerate the rest of the design process, from ideation to implementation.
- Use an arsenal of research techniques and tools alongside research specialists to generate problem framing insight to create hypotheses for solutions that you'll seek to validate/invalidate.
- Strive to go from idea to learning as quickly as possible
- Use accelerated design workshops techniques to conduct work within a cross-functional environment.
- Fluency in working with state-of-the-art UI and prototyping tools (e.g.
Sketch, Figma, Adobe CS)
- Encourage best in class information architecture (such as user flows, taxonomy, hierarchy etc.)
to services and products
- Fluent Italian and English required
You will have:
- A portfolio that highlights your approach to problem solving coupled with your skills in service design, research, user experience, and design (both visual and interaction)
- Knowledge of Agile or Lean UX or product methodologies and experience working in a collaborative, agile environment is a plus
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaboration - with product managers and engineers at every phase of the product development process.
Eventually embedded in Squads
- Holistic experience design - Interconnecting your work with the Service picture as well as Business capabilities and Customer needs.
Understanding the broad view to create a fitting value proposition nested within products, journeys, and features
- Continuous Improvement - working to optimise the user experience in solutions
- Workshop facilitator - leading mixed disciplined teams through design thinking workshop methods to get a 360-degree view of a challenge
Job Deliverables:
- Collaborate within a mixed-disciplined team (squad) across an end-2-end process (strategy > design > delivery)
- Collaborate to understand the service vision and programme goals.
- Be a workshop facilitator (virtual or hybrid) guiding the squad through design thinking exercises and workshops
- Ideate, prototype and test with users to validate the value in the solution as early as possible.
- Collaborate to measure success and implement improvements
