If this sounds like you, then join us as our new Product Sales Manager, Energy and Air System
As a Product Sales Manager, Energy and Air System, you will carry out process audits, while at the same time analyzing and collecting data in close co-operation with our Product and Sales professionals.
You will file mechanical reports and process diagnosis to external customers and/or to internal customers for sales, project and RTD purposes.
Together with our Cost Estimation Department, you will provide technical support to both Sales and delivery process by continuously developing and identifying high-quality solutions within Valmet technologies and products will be key for your success.
For these reason, you must be an open-minded and innovative thinker, one who can push the limits of technology while meeting customers' specific needs up to the negotiation point.
In addition, you will be developing and cherish long term relations with our customers, opening new compelling offerings between them and the company.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Carry out mill audits, analyze collected data, prepare final reports, presentations and submit recommended solutions to the customer's needs
- Identify improvement areas to prompt subsequent sales opportunities and prevent repeated mistakes by keeping all the documents properly updated
- Develop commercial proposals (basic dimensioning, layout, technical specifications, cost/price proposal) with special focus on how the proposed solution will impact on production process, on customer's equipment and running cost
- Ensure needed cooperation and support to Area sales team, work in close contact with our Mill Sales Manager
- Eventually, you will also take care of the erection supervision and start-up of the equipment sold
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Mechanical Engineering University Diploma
- At least 3 years' experience in similar position
- Good command of safety norms relevant to industrial equipment
- Ability to convert customer needs, concerns, and opportunities into sales
- Good interactive skills building relationships with customers (both internal and external)
- Relationship skills in a matrix, multi-cultural, international environment
- Excellent commend of English and Italian, spoken and written; possibly a second foreign language and preferably French, German or Spanish
- Knowledge of paper production process will be appreciated
- Presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
