At Valmet, we're looking for a Product Sales Manager to help drive sales and build lasting relationships with customers across Italy. This position can be based in either our Lucca or Milan office, with approximately 50% travel dedicated to client sites.
What You'll Do: Manage a diverse product portfolio including Refiner Segments & Screen Plates, as well as Pulpers, HC Cleaners, Deflakers, Refiners, Screens, LC Cleaners, and Disc Filters in the Stockprep & OCC Lines.Proactively convert customer needs into actionable sales opportunities, developing tailored solutions and presenting them effectively.Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust.Collaborate closely with your Sales Team in Italy and with the Product Teams in Finland & Sweden to optimize delivery, stock levels, and operational processes.Report directly to the Senior Manager, Sales and play a key role in driving sales performance.What We Are Looking For: At least 2 years of experience in the Paper, Board, Tissue, Nonwoven, or Converting industries, preferably in a similar role.A technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical diploma.Fluency in both Italian and English (spoken and written).Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and machinery manuals.Passion for learning and improving both mechanical and process knowledge in the paper industry.Natural ability to build strong, trust-based customer relationships.A scientific mindset with strong analytical skills to solve customer challenges.Target-driven, goal-oriented, and excited about delivering results.A positive, creative, can-do attitude and ability to socialize and communicate with ease.Why Valmet?
