We are actively seeking a Product Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy!
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for collecting and analyzing data from components as well as from applications and processes.
With the support of the subject matter experts (SME), the role includes: Driving the failure mode analysis, at the design level (DFMEA) as well as at the application level (AFMEA).
Calculating the MTBF.
Providing statistical analysis and reports to illustrate and showcase potential issues within the product lifecycle and providing improvement plans.
Creating and/or optimizing processes to collect the lessons learned and track their implementation in the products or in the applications.
What kind of work will you be doing?
Identifying and reporting on potential failures within a process, including: Performing tests and analysis when required.
Conducting Design and Application Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) as well as MTBF calculation.
Performing functional analysis and functional failure analysis (function FMEA, FHA or FFA).
Defining corrective action plans to solve identified issues and tracking their implementation.
Providing analysis and reports to illustrate and showcase the analysis and the correction plan to the leadership team.
Liaising with relevant teams on the outcomes of the analysis.

Key responsibilities and requirements include: Fault tree analysis and dynamic reliability block-diagram analysis.
Human error analysis, operational hazard analysis, reliability hazard analysis.
Customer orientation and availability to travel.
English language knowledge.
Data management skills: ability to use statistical analysis tools and interpret and communicate the results of the analysis.
A continuous improvement mindset: identifying and implementing ways to continuously improve reliability.
Safety-conscious: the ability to identify potential hazards and take necessary steps to mitigate them.
Project management: ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively including planning and scheduling.
University degree or equivalent.
Years of Experience: 1-7 years.
