As an expert professional in your area, you will execute the Hematology marketing plan in the assigned territory and be the subject matter expert (SME) throughout the sales process:

Strengthen relationships with KOL leaders and important decision-makers in the assigned territories; Translate Sysmex strategy and marketing plan into field initiatives and activities; Be an active part of the sales process for public tenders and complex RfP, performing product presentations and solution selling; Drive an increase in market share in the assigned territories and expand Sysmex's share of wallet on its Lighthouse accounts. Our company Sysmex Italia specializes in health technology, specifically in vitro diagnostics. Founded in 2008, it focused its efforts on cancer diagnosis and has evolved to the hematology sector, supporting healthcare professionals and patients around the world with a broad range of medical diagnostic products and solutions in various fields.

Product Portfolio Specialist (PPS) — Hematology (Centre) (f/m/x)

Location: Milano In this role you will: Lead all marketing activities in the assigned territory, in alignment with Sysmex strategy and marketing plan; Be responsible for achieving the expected ROI of marketing initiatives; Together with the sales team, be responsible for achieving all sales objectives and key commercial metrics; Have an in-depth knowledge of Sysmex solutions, their value proposition, impact on customer operations, and key differentiators with competitors; Able to articulate and discuss scientific and clinical value with laboratory stakeholders and physicians; Perform classroom and on-the-job training for the sales team to drive sales excellence; Gain valuable insights on market, competition, and customer evolution to improve marketing strategy and objection handling; Prepare analysis of market trends and competitive presence and strategy; Identify sales opportunities and develop tailored solutions together with the sales, application, and service team; Apply value selling methodologies by understanding needs and critical success factors, showing the benefits of solutions for each stakeholder; Lead the preparation of technical documentation for public tenders and post-award analysis of prices and competitive materials; Provide information to the legal team in case of tender-related lawsuits; Support all activities related to product lifecycle management; Participate in events and congresses, both at local and national levels; Maintain effective internal relationships by engaging with relevant individuals and functions and mobilizing the right resources to drive commercial success; Trace the sales process and activities by maintaining updated information on the CRM system, including pipeline progress, areas of risk and opportunity, and follow-up of action plans. This role requires the employee to be able to visit clinical laboratories and departments.

Job requirements Degree in Medical Sciences or equivalent; PhD is a plus. Business Management qualification would be a plus. Fluent in English. Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). General professional experience: 3-5 years of cumulative experience in the IVD industry in commercial functions (sales, marketing, or application support). Hands-on experience in the field is a plus. Professional experience for the position: Scientific and product knowledge (Expert) in Hematology. Previous experience in sales is a strong plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations. Solution selling. Tender management. What's in it for you?
