Product Planning - Purpose Built Vehicles Assistant Manager - PBV Light Commercial Vehicles (M/F/D) at Kia Italia in Milan, Italy

Reporting to the Product Planning Manager, the Purpose Built Vehicles Assistant Manager will support the Product Planning team in the preparation of Purpose Built Vehicles (PBV) launches. S/he will be responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy for PBVs. S/he will be involved in new products launch, contributing to the development of the new Launch Plan, and cooperating with the rest of the team to ensure the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Your Mission: New PBV business area development, defining milestones and finding stakeholders in the market to work and develop new local processes. New products launch, contributing to the development of the PBV Launch Plan, and cooperating with the rest of the Product Team to ensure the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Collection and analysis of the information coming from HQ and internal processes related to PBVs. Management of leverages results coming from research and analytics to determine new opportunities for improvement by analyzing industry trends, identifying gaps, and proposing ideas on actions to address those gaps. Management of third parties to collaborate with Kia for local transformations (with focus on competitiveness, offers, opportunities). Support in pricing policy - in terms of price list adjusted, collecting and analyzing data on costs and competitive scenario. Assessment of profitability and issuance of price lists. Product positioning and messaging - to differentiate our products in the market by line-up and pricing strategy, according to competitiveness analysis and customer expectations. Advertising - to focus on model Unique Selling Points and to create coherent message for customers, supporting the production of communication assets. Ordering process - to ensure ordering are managed in coherence with line-up strategy and economics results. Responsible to manage in-life product performance, as well as the product improvement life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities. Operational activities: product codes creation, system set-up, pricing simulations, etc. Your Talents: University degree, preferably Economics or Engineering. The ideal candidate has experience in Light Commercial Vehicles or Automotive industry. Italian: fluent, spoken and written. English: fluent, spoken and written. MS Office proficient, with excellent Excel and PPT skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about cars and/or Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), with a consistent analytic background, very precise, proactive and with an enquiring attitude. S/he shows a desire to improve the status quo with a positive "can do" attitude and enthusiasm for the automotive market. Strongly goal-oriented, s/he has team working, communication, public speaking, reliability and organizational skills with good negotiation ability. Contractual grade: First Level CCNL or above.
