For a multinational **sporting goods retailer** we are looking for a:
**PRODUCT OWNER**
The Product Owner will be 90% dedicated to a new proprietary software product evolution (logistic field), owning the enabling new path at country level as the main focus.
He/She will be also contributing to both the E-Commerce and the IT Team LOG, evaluating and owning new products to adopt locally as well as to investigate how to implement new solutions to boost the Business on the next level (e.g.
Non IT Ticketing Management System) for the remaining 10% of the time.
He/She will link with business representatives to capture long term strategies and desired outcomes, as well as with the local product team to drive the product evolution accordingly.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Understand stakeholder's perspective and needs, as well as being part of the process in the strategy setting & roadmap creation;
- Create value during the conversation with the business;
- Understand and write user needs in his/her own area of product (= PBI or user stories);
- Prioritize a set of features and steer their delivery in strong coordination with the Global Team;
- Validate the Sprint Artifacts;
- Communicate about release note;
- Have a good understanding of the architecture and tech stack of the product area;
- Pickup and handle issues/bugs raised by the Operations when using the new product.
**REQUIREMENTS**
**Must have**:
- Minimum 2 years experience as Product Owner on digital projects with SCRUM methodology;
- Degree in Engineering/Technical areas or demonstrable knowledge of technical environment (API, WebServices, EDI files, Shipping Labels as main deliverables);
- Skilled in Analysis, Synthesis and Thinking "out of the box";
- Able to technically understand and challenge a digital product or environment;
- Able to prioritize work thanks to a prioritization framework or methodology;
- English proficiency is mandatory in order to communicate and collaborate with international tech teams and other countries' representatives.
**Nice to have**:
- Able to offer visual representation of process and interactions;
- Previous experiences in B2C and/or Supply Chain industries (Logistics/Transportation).
**Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
