Product Owner for Leaf Services product line Leaf Space provides services for customers to configure and operate their space assets through a multi-mission ground station network. We seek a Product Owner (PO) to lead the development of the software to provide services to our customers, named Leaf Services, including related subsystems. Leaf Services is the area of the product development responsible for the development, improvement, and maintenance of all the services at the base of Leaf Space GSaaS solution, including the orchestration, control plane, and data plane architecture and interfaces
The Product Owner is responsible for setting the vision and bridging technical and market perspectives to ensure the product meets customer needs and industry demands for the Leaf Services product line. The PO leads product development, defines requirements, manages release plans and roadmaps, follows daily Scrum processes, and supports the team in turning market needs into production-ready releases.
As PO, you will guide the development of Leaf Services products, addressing specific customer requests and proposing innovative solutions to drive the market.
The PO maintains the product backlog, overseeing its refinement, prioritization, and alignment with the company roadmap. Working closely with other company teams, such as Service Delivery, Site Reliability Engineering, Finance, and Global Infrastructure, the PO defines requirements and validates new features to ensure they meet high-quality standards before release.
This role requires a deep understanding of the industry ecosystem, including competitors, partners, and suppliers, and a strong knowledge of end-user needs and behaviors. Collaborating with the Director of Product Development, the PO helps define the product roadmap, actively participates in Scrum ceremonies, and serves as a key knowledge source for the team. While the PO supports architectural and technical decisions, they delegate detailed technical responsibilities to the team. Ultimately, the PO ensures the delivery of a successful, market-ready product aligned with strategic objectives.
This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote flexibility with regular in-office days at our headquarters.
Requirements - What you should bring to the table Strong technical and market vision for satellite telecommunication operations related to Leaf services product line. Minimum of 6 years of experience as a tech lead or product owner in satellite telecommunications and operations, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges. Master's degree in Engineering. A strategic mindset with a focus on delivering a successful, high-quality product. Expertise in understanding and addressing end-user needs. Skilled in managing and refining product backlogs. Deep knowledge of industry ecosystems, including competitors, partners, and suppliers. Experience in setting priorities and defining requirements for product milestones. Expertise in Scrum Agile Methodology. English is our official language -we are no grammar masters but proficiency is required! Strong communication skills, to transmit product vision and requirements. Empathy for understanding customer needs and team dynamics. Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Proficient in conflict resolution. Strong time management skills to balance strategic vision with daily operational tasks. Responsibilities - What we expect from you Lead product development by defining requirements and roadmaps.
