The Semiconductor Business Unit within Thermo Fisher Scientific Materials and Structural Analysis (MSD) provides workflow solutions for yield improvement and failure analysis of semiconductor devices.
The core of our offerings are solutions for sample preparation, 3D imaging, metrology, and electrical failure analysis deployed into semiconductor labs and fabs.
These workflows combine a variety of localization, preparation, and imaging technologies with growing levels of automation.
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for business ownership of products serving the global semiconductor market.
New Product Introduction: Define requirements for new product development and introduction.
Focus on developing customer value-driven solutions through close relationships with customers, sales and account teams, operations, and service.
Product Market Development: Using customer and market segmentation models, develop growth strategies for existing and future products.
Strategy Planning: Analyze the market and develop go-to-market models and new market strategies to grow the business worldwide.
Competitive Analysis: Work with the competitive intelligence team to develop and implement specific countermeasures tailored to the needs of the individual business segments.
Customer Engagement: Working in close collaboration with customers, engage with KOLs, build VOC plans, and coalesce the voice of the customer into inputs for product marketing teams.
Requirements: University degree in a scientific field is required. Minimum of 2+ years R&D, marketing, or sales management experience in a tech environment related to semiconductor failure analysis or other adjacent markets. Knowledge of analytical instrumentation, high volume manufacturing of capital equipment, and related commercial application techniques is a clear advantage. Preference for good contact with customers in markets specific to commercial, industrial, or academia landscapes. Shown experience in driving business goals.
