Position Summary
Implement a marketing and sales strategy for the relevant product range to meet established sales and market share targets.
Perform a range of activities to effectively market assigned products: conducting market research, set prices, launch new products, oversee advertising campaigns and monitor performances.
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the product line-up roadmaps and manage the whole product life-cycle according to Corporate and BU product strategy.
- Coordinate and supervise all Market analysis related to the relevant product range including consumer preferences and behaviour, competitors benchmarking. Collect and evaluate all feedback from the market in terms of technological trends in the relevant product environment.
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the product.
- Elaborate AP2 forecasts; monitor and address forecast gap vs. Actual (quantities, value, distribution).
- Liaise with other BU members, trade marketing dept. and sales to design the most effective sales campaigns and sales collateral.
- Implement and monitor channel mix and distribution strategy closely liaising with Sales.
- Elaborate and circulate market data, reporting, forecasts, etc.
- Act as a reference point for all product-related issues - local team, Korea HQ, customers.
- Train customers, sales agents or field sales where necessary, on product features and commercial strategy.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Educational Background : Masters degree with Marketing specialization;
Professional Background: 2-3 years exp in Product Marketing roles.
Computer Knowledge: Excellent Excel, Power Point required.
Language Knowledge: Very good written and spoken English.
Travel required: 20% domestic transfers. International transfers may frequently occur.
