col-wideJob Description:Riepilogo posizioneReporting to the Director of Product Management and Engineering, leads the assigned product portfolio and owns the respective product strategies on a global basis, to drive and sustain growth in the specific market.In this role he/she will be responsible for successfully driving the global execution of the product line strategies, in close collaboration with Sales, Engineering and Operations.The product lines he/she will manage are primarily sold into the Transportation and Industrial market, both to direct customers and through distribution.Responsabilità essenzialiThe candidate will have a wide set of responsibilities.StrategicOwns the product line Sales and Margin goals and closely collaborate with other functions to ensure performance achievement.Owns the product roadmap, drives its execution, being responsible for NPI (new product introduction) results.Sets pricing strategies and coordinate price agreements (in collaboration with sales and pricing team) for the product line.Initiates and drives product streamlining and cost reduction activities.Collects and monitors competitive landscape information.Sales EnablementProactively supports Sales to grow market share, develop new products, explore new applications, promote and design-in solutions.Ensures deep understanding of customer applications and needs, delivers exceptional product support, answering questions the customers may have.Trains customers and distributors as needed, demonstrates product functionality accurately and completely.Supports customer visits, with the sales team or in autonomy as needed.Manages internal issues associated with product line, being the glue between functions for product line issues. Drives responsiveness in the organization.Product MarketingSupports product launches.Issues product change notices.Works closely with Pricing in responding to bids and requests for quotation.Estimates the costs for customized products and special bids, interacting directly with Purchasing, Operations and Engineering.Contributes to the development and execution of the marketing strategies for the product line, working closely with Marketing Communications. Supports promotions, develops sales tools and participates into trade shows.Requisiti di posizioneKey Qualifications, Experiences & KnowledgeDegree in Engineering or Business.Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, technical sales or engineering (ideally within the connectors or similar markets).Good understanding of technical subjects.Self-driven and motivated, high accuracy and detail oriented, works cooperatively with the rest of the team.Proactivity, problem solving, time management and prioritization skills, ability to work on an independent basis with limited supervision.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; presents complex concepts in a way to foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information.Proficient with MS Office, in particular Excel and Power Point.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a basic requirement.Job location: ITT CANNON VEAM- Lainate (Milano)Willingness to travel for customer visits in Europe and occasionally in North America, up to 30%.
