**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES**
The Product Manager is responsible of local portfolio definition and promotion, in line with Global strategies and in coordination with local Sales, Regulatory, Sourcing, Supply Chain departments. She/He is in charge of developing the brand communication, managing portfolio in & outs, targeting improved revenues and optimized margins in line with Country objectives. As such, her/his main accountabilities will be to:
**1- Portfolio Management**: Develop assigned category in line with Global and local Strategies, by managing product life cycle:
- Generating ideas, managing new product development and launches
- Administrating local article numbers, codes and other product related data for NDP and customer request purposes
- Ensuring compliance of both product labels and communication materials with local regulatory law and industry standards
**2 - Marketing Intelligence & Business plan **:Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of the market and ensure the right brand and product positioning of the assigned category, by leading the local market analysis, monitoring market trend, competitive intelligence and prices benchmark.
**3 - Brand communication & Promotion**: Communicate and promote the brand(s) and products assigned according to the local and global marketing strategies to maximize sell-out, in cooperation with Marketing Manager.
**4 - Budget Management**: Manage budget and P/L for the assigned portfolio by:
- Evaluating sales and margins trend of the existing range and analyzing sales, margins, customer and consumer price development
- Taking actions and be proactive to improve product price and/or quality
**5 - Sales Support **Ensures implementation of the brand plans by the Salesforce, by communicating brand plans and preparing customer arguments to Salesforce.
**TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EDUCATION**
- You have a proven experience of 3 to 5 years in marketing, preferrably in a BtoC and international environment
- Italian and English language as mandatory, French and/or Spanish as a plus
- You have a strong Marketing Mix & Marketing NPD processes knowledge
- You have a proven experience on Project Management
- You have developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and are recognized as a true Team player.
- You have a result-oriented mindset, and strong leadership abilities.
- You have a strong Marketing Mix & NPD processes knowledge, and a proven experience on Project Management
- Working and/or Academic experience in the **Agribusiness and on gardening products is a strong plus**
