Job Summary We are looking for a Product Manager for Ambient Capital Equipment who will be responsible to manage the product(s) under responsibility from an end-to-end perspective, from cradle to the grave.The product manager shall be responsible to secure product strategic directions during development, through product requirements definition, business case and performance monitoring, including supply chain.
He/she shall also be responsible during product lifecycle, managing the evolution on quality, performance, product profitability and development extensions.The product manager will also lead his part of the ambient CE business securing strategic fit, customer value proposition and competitiveness, in key cooperation with Packaging Solutions Business Streams.This role is based in Modena – Italy and will report to the Director Capital Equipment.
International travel will be a part of your job.
What you will do Manage the capital equipment under own responsibility for a successful packaging solutions deployment in the markets collaborating with Business Stream Directors, Solutions Managers, and representing the business in Governance forums of critical projects, keeping effective functional interaction with Market Operations, Services, Development & Technology, PSE and Supplier Management Lead the life cycle of own Products, including pricing recommendations, quality and phase-out decisions.
Collaborate with other Product Managers and with the Capital Equipment Director to execute the Capital Equipment Strategy and deliver the Capital Equipment business objectives.
Participate to development projects, defining business case and product requirements to deliver on market needs.
Create Product Value propositions relevant for customer segments and geographies.
We believe you have A university degree in Engineering or Business Administration Minimum 5 years' experience from a customer facing role and/or experience from working with Capital Equipment / Project or Product Management Good understanding of Capital Equipment product functionalities (in particular Filling Equipment), Customer Operations and Capital Equipment commercial dynamics is a plus A fluency in English, both spoken and written As a person you are very dynamic and able to work in an environment requiring high prioritization effort and multitasking capability.
You have good analytical skills and are confident with the use of numbers for business analysis.You possess good communication skills and you can create strong professional relationships with different level of stakeholders.
You are an effective team player, sharing information and able to coach colleagues, and you have the ability to identify and to resolve conflicts in an effective manner.Furthermore, you are aware of the business and its commercial environment, including options, constraints and opportunities.
