General information: We're looking for a Local Product Manager for our Business Unit High Voltage.
Reporting directly to our Operating Unit manager, you will have the possibility to help the organization understanding the full potential of our technology and the trend in our markets.
In addition, helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, save resources and reduce emissions gives your work a powerful sense of purpose.
Responsibilities: Manages a product portfolio within the local unit throughout its whole life cycle, with responsibility for product profitability.
Leads continuous business analysis of the existing portfolio and potential new portfolio items and contributes to decisions on product obsolescence and end-of life Translates local business unit strategy into the local product portfolio through market and customer segmentation, and continuously analyses the content of the local unit portfolio with a focus on new potential products.
Contributes to the definition of new product line or product portfolio strategies providing inputs to Global Product Management Analyses and tracks market, technology, competitor and customer requirements related to the product business and determines competitive attributes, prioritization and value proposition.
Identifies needs, opportunities, risks and positioning against competition and feeds information to global team as input to decision making.
Directs creation of the local product business plan, ensuring fit with global strategy.
Defines the business model and approves the pricing model.
Makes decisions and approves prioritization on local product portfolio development activities.
Manages challenging customer escalations and nonconformities.
Contributes to local business unit product certification and factory approval Your background: More than 5 years of experience in similar role and industry.
Very good understanding of a product group/local product group set-up.
Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably in a highly matrixed organization.
International experience preferred.
Fluency in English, and Italian.
External focus / Customer orientation.
Personal leadership skills: self-motivation, teamwork & networking, communication and cross cultural understanding.
Strong decision marking capabilities based on input from many stakeholders.
A strong knowledge of the business and product.
R&D and market experience in the T&D business.
Engineering degree.
Excellence in building cross cultural and cross functional teams and networks.
