**This position reports to**:
Local Product Eng. Team Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Collaborates with other technical writers in order to share templates, models and repositories.
- Leverages on external partnerships upon need and make sure that the quality of documentation produced by third parties respects the quality standards set by Abb e-mobility along with specific compliance requirements.
- Plans, edits, writes and develops complete set of technical documents for the customer.
- Monitors the regular product releases and performs periodic reviews of documents for updates and accuracy.
- Coordinates the approval process for the technical documentation.
- Organizes reviews and ensures documentation meets customer requirements.
- Provides sufficient information and content in written (or other) form regarding the product/solution so it can be understood and used by the recipient.
- Collaborates with technical colleagues across the organization to collect all relevant information to create the technical documentation and partners with them to clarify ambiguous topics.
- Coordinates the approval process for technical documentation.
- Develops and communicates standards, organization, style guides, tools, and content for technical documentation.
- Ensures the documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and any regulatory specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
- Uses innovative media, communication tools, and creative illustrations to communicate complex technical content in simple, non-expert terms.
**Your background**:
- Master degree in Automation, Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial environment. Previous experience in technical writing in similar environment; coordination of people/tasks are a plus, such as knowledge of Agile Principle and tools (Jira,). Proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities.
- Good knowledge of electromechanical and electronic low voltage devices can facilitate the onboarding.
- Good level of English and Italian, both written and spoken. Ability to work in global context, collaborating effectively with different culture and mindset.
- Good communication skills to handle different perspectives or different stakeholders and achieve buy-in.
- Good structured approach to problem solving, balancing theoretical/numerical and experimental approaches.
- Good leadership skills, to guide people and to create engagement in the team, sense of urgency and result orientation approach.
- Digital skills and mindset.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and good written and spoken communication skills.
