Promote and sell products and solutions in remote mode to customer portfolio (via phone and web meetings); bringing value of Eaton Solution or products to customers.
Proactively act to understand, detect and solve customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries.
The Product Line Manager is the single point of contact in their region for all sales activity relating to Bussmann and Switch Disconnect products and therefore has responsibility for meeting sales profit plan targets in the region
**What you'll do**:
Responsible for business development activities in region for Bussmann and Switch Disconnect Products.
Business development responsibility includes:
- Market knowledge including competitor's commercial and technical competence,
- customer knowledge and requirements,
- market and customer mapping
- full knowledge of Eaton product under responsibility
- support sales teams leveraging expertise and knowledge of the product portfolio under responsibility for securing synergy with the full Eaton portfolio
- defining strategy and segments approach according to the Eaton GoToMarket and country plans
- be the link between business unit and sales organisation for product requirements, development, production and stock planning
- be the specialist and technical support for customers including training and seminars, product launch activity, new product introduction.
- Build a solid sales and marketing plan for the single countries for overachieving targets
Responsible for selling activity of Bussmann and Switch Disconnect products in region and assigned countries.
- Responsibility to meet country/region profit plan targets.
Direct selling responsibility includes:
- Pipeline management, demand management, contracts and RFQs and pricing strategy.
- might be responsible and sales owner for major accounts in the country/region
- defining country tactics and actions together with local FPM and marketing for securing proper communication plans and customer information
**Qualifications**:
Education level required:
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally Electrical Engineering; or equivalent in proved working experience.
Years and area of experience required:
- 5-6 years in a similar position in sales/product marketing.
Technical Knowledge:
- Technical: Power conversion supplies, power supply, Low Voltage & High Voltage systems.
- Commercial: Local market (customer and competitor) knowledge
- IT: SAP, CRM tools.
