Then this could be your new role: Product Engineering Specialist – PV Wheel End Europe Automotive HBU Factory PV Wheel End Engineering team is responsible for global development of HBU solutions for Wheel applications. Our customers are all major global and local OEMs and new mobility players.
Key Responsibilities: Design and industrialize hub bearing units for all major players in the AM marketDevelop products to satisfy customer requirements along the full product lifecycle, from RFQ to production and field implementationDrive and promote innovation for SKF wheel end solutions to strengthen SKF technical leadershipIdentify best technical solutions for the customer requirements for developing the complete technical packageOptimize product characteristics interacting with manufacturing units, process development teams, application engineering and project management teamsInteract with customers' engineering teams within ETO and advanced development projectsPromote continuous improvement of tools & methodologies, design process and standards and practicesRequirements: University degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Aerospace, Automotive, Materials)High engineering knowledge (materials, CAE, design, testing)Knowledge on 3D modeling systems (PTC Creo is beneficial)Experience with problem solving tools and knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA toolsExperience in automotive area is beneficialThe role requires proficiency in Italian and fluency in English, including writing and speaking abilities, and welcomes candidates with German language skillsExperience with Design for Six Sigma is advantageousAvailability for travellingAt SKF we are committed to creating a diverse environment, and we firmly believe that a diverse workforce is essential for our continued success.
