We are currently seeking a Product Engineer Energy Storage to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy!
This position is responsible for supporting the products in the Energy Storage COE during their life cycle, transferring lessons learned from the field to the engineering team, and working in conjunction with other teams to develop test cases to verify the product features.
Evaluate alternative components and solutions that can be adopted during the life of the products.
The AC Power Global Energy Storage COE designs and maintains energy storage systems utilized by the Uninterruptible Power Supply and power converters.
Executes engineering tests, verifies that the product meets the design requirements, conducts value engineering analysis to reduce product costs, supports field engineers for special applications in the field, and assists the service team with field issues.
What kind of work will you be doing? Coordinate activities with the Service team and provide the necessary documentation to initiate the Change Order processes.Cooperate with other engineering functions during the definition of the product specifications.Support the testing team in defining the test plan and reviewing test results.Produce technical documentation in line with process requirements, such as drawings and component specifications.Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to analyze product costs.Analyze specific applications while providing active support and service. What will make you successful? University degree or technical diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Experience in equivalent areas (e.g., UPS, Power converter, or low voltage electrical distribution) is a plus.Excellent planning and communication skills are required.Good knowledge of electrical power components.Good knowledge of PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) processes.Strong team working attitude and communication skills.Customer-oriented with availability to travel.Good command of the English language.
