This position is responsible for supporting the products in the Energy Storage COE during their life cycle, transferring lessons learned from the field to the engineering team, and working in conjunction with other teams to develop test cases to verify product features.
The role also involves evaluating alternative components and solutions that may be adopted during the product life cycle.
The AC Power Global Energy Storage COE designs and maintains energy storage systems utilized by Uninterruptible Power Supplies and power converters.
Responsibilities include executing engineering tests, verifying that products meet design requirements, conducting value engineering analysis to reduce product costs, supporting field engineers for special applications, and assisting the service team with field issues.What kind of work will you be doing?Work with the Service team.Coordinate activities and provide necessary documentation to initiate Change Order processes.Cooperate with other engineering functions during the definition of product specifications.Support the testing team in defining test plans and reviewing test results.Produce technical documentation in line with process requirements such as drawings and component specifications.Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to analyze product costs.Analyze specific applications providing active support and service.What will make you successful?University degree or technical diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Experience in equivalent areas (e.g., UPS, Power converter, or low voltage electrical distribution) is a plus.Excellent planning and communication skills are required.Good knowledge of electrical power components.Good knowledge of PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) processes.Team-oriented with strong communication skills.Customer-oriented with availability to travel.Proficient in English.Should you meet the requirements outlined, we invite you to submit your application and begin your career journey within our thriving and nurturing workplace!
