Purpose of Position: IRCA is looking for a Product Costing Controller with knowledge of standard costing in order to support operational management, in compliance with Group standards, rules, and procedures.
In particular, this requires a deep understanding of a Standard Costing environment within manufacturing and/or food industries.

The Product Cost Controller oversees and manages the cost structure of products across multiple international sites.
This role involves analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing product costs to ensure profitability while maintaining compliance with financial and operational standards.
Collaboration with various departments and global teams is essential to achieve consistent cost management practices.


Key Responsibilities: Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze product cost structures across multiple international locations.
Develop and maintain cost reports, variance analysis, and forecasts.
Monitor cost trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with site managers and finance teams to develop cost budgets.
Create and update cost forecasts based on market trends and operational changes.
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in cost management processes and implement improvements.
Ensure standard costing practices are consistently applied across all sites.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and finance teams.
Act as a liaison between sites to ensure consistency in cost-related practices.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to international accounting standards and company policies.
Monitor and mitigate risks associated with fluctuating costs and exchange rates.
Technology & Systems Management: Use ERP and other financial systems for data analysis and reporting.
Support the implementation of cost management tools and software.
Professional Skills: Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical capabilities to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
Expertise in using tools like Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
ERP Systems Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple cost-related projects across various international sites.
Knowledge of Manufacturing & Logistics: Understanding of production processes, supply chains, and logistics.
Personal Skills: Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse teams.
Ability to convey complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address cost-related challenges.
Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work effectively in a global environment.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments, priorities, and market conditions.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in analyzing and reporting financial data.
Teamwork & Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
