1 - Position: Project PA Manager – Institutional
2 - Location: Turin – Italy
3 - Job Description: The incumbent will ensure the implementation of all Product Assurance tasks on institutional projects for the assigned perimeter (project or sub-system), and as such she/he will:
Ensure compliance with project requirements or, as applicable, that deviations are duly documented and justified. Ensure that project activities are carried out in compliance with the Company Quality Management System, applicable Standards, and Regulations. Establish and maintain appropriate interface with the Customer Quality representative for all relevant PA matters. Represent the privileged interface for the Project Management team for relevant PA matters. Establish/update the Project PA Plan (if applicable) in compliance with the PA requirements, and ensure that it is correctly implemented throughout the Project. Ensure Non-Conformities are managed according to applicable requirements and processes internally and with suppliers, ensuring proper visibility to the Customer. Coordinate the activities of the Project Quality team, ensuring that the PA Requirements and/or Plan is correctly flowed down at all levels, internally and towards external suppliers. Prepare Quality documents under PA responsibility, and verify/approve other project Quality documents. Ensure proper reporting of Quality aspects towards the Customer, the PMO, and the management. Ensure participation in (internal and Customer) Project meetings and reviews as relevant, providing Quality contributions whenever necessary. Ensure that lessons learnt are formalized, capitalized & promoted. Exercise the duty of alerts and the right of vetoes according to existing processes. Ensure that Risk Management processes are well executed, and provide proactive contributions. Ensure that continuous improvement processes are in place and implemented. Participate in transversal activities, contributing to improve best practices, coaching and supporting younger and less experienced colleagues. 4 - Main Interfaces: TAS Project Manager and Project team. Customer PA Manager and Project team. Q representatives of suppliers and partners, as applicable. 5 - Required Experiences and Skills: 7 years' experience in the Space Domain (nice to have). 5 years in Quality (preferably as Project / Product PA). Deep knowledge of ECSS. Capability to effectively interface at management level. Very good communication and negotiation skills. Capability to effectively coordinate and delegate.
