Product Specialist plays a key role supporting promotion and increasing the value of Werfen solutions for the business line. Within the Acute Care Marketing team he/she implements a specific marketing plan for the local market and guarantees continuous support for Sales Management both in pre and post-sales activities to reach company targets and objectives.
Key Accountabilities Support for the launch of new products of the business lineProvide all necessary and up-to-date marketing information and tools (e.g., presentations, HTA tools, etc.) to the sales department to assist them in achieving business goalsCreate and keep up to date documentation of the business line and promotional material (e.g., scientific posters, brochures, flyers).Consult scientific literature regarding Werfen products and competitorsPrepare technical documentation needed for tenders or offersDesign, plan, organize, and facilitate training courses and/or clinical training programs both internally (for the sales department) and externally (for customers and end-users)Collect scientific information in external events in Werfen (congresses, seminars, symposium) to identify and involve key opinion leaders, collecting scientific information that reinforces the value of the product and innovative scientific trendsPlan, organize (in collaboration with the Communication Team), promote, and actively participate in scientific events sponsored by Werfen (congresses, seminars, symposium) to strengthen scientific knowledge, image and establish Werfen solutions as a standard of diagnostic management of the patientContribute to maintaining and developing a network of Key Opinion Leaders in the areas of responsibilityVisit customers for feedback gathering and troubleshooting of Werfen solutionsManage promotional activities (e.g., demos) of Werfen solutions to customers and potential customers, together with the sales force.In collaboration with the Line Manager, design the most suitable solution for complex projects in presalesSupport Sales Specialists in the installation of new products and solutions during the launch phaseCollaborate in collecting data on competitors and market needs to improve product positioning and penetrationNetworking/Key relationships Internal: Sales - Customer Service - Tenders - Offers - Logistics - Image and advertising - Management control - QA
