In this role, you will be in charge of all procurement operations within Italy and also be the main point of contact and look after the needs in Porto Corsini plant where located. More on the Procurement Specialist - Senior Buyer (Italy):Our future colleague will lead implementation of Procurement best practices and processes according to procurement policies, performing local (Italy) procurement projects and category management initiatives. Additionally, you will create and drive a Procurement action plan.Main responsibilities:Accountable for some direct and mainly indirect spend and medium value capex projects at Local level.Manage local supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, drive cost saving actions, tenders and negotiations. Implement Regional (European) frame agreements in Italy and participates in Regional category project teams as required.Main procurement point of contact for the Italian stakeholders, he/she will be a procurement business partner.Participate and support transactional improvements and standardization projects Main point of contact (SPOC) for plant stakeholders and BBS support team, in order to ensure the correct coverage of plant requirements and urgencies.Takes care of PO creation and management and invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable department, BBS and Stakeholders.We are looking for different skills in our ideal candidate: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.+/- 7 years of experience in procurement.Analytical mindset, problem solving, planning and organization skills. Proactive and capable of working autonomously.Results-oriented, able to make decisions, team player and customer oriented. Good interpersonal and communication skills.Previous experience in an international group is recommended.Occasional travels to other Bunge countries if needed (very limited).Italian and English (advanced level); Spanish is a plus.Excellent knowledge of pivot tables in Excel; Highly valuable a good expertise in SAP and SRM systems.Basic legal knowledge concerning labor agreements and contractors.
