Within the Global Central Procurement function, reporting to the Global Commodity Manager, he/she will be responsible to manage the company's purchasing requirements of a defined range of materials and components (Category).
Your main activities will include: Support in defining internal needs and in assessing market conditions.
Participate in identifying a sourcing strategy for the referring materials/components based on technological roadmap and supplier base definition.
Support in negotiating Long Term Agreements contracts.
Collect supplier KPIs and analyze suppliers cost, quality and delivery performances.
Support Product Management and Supplier Quality Assurance activities.
Early supplier selection and involvement in R&D projects.
Identify operational/financial risks and develop mitigation plans.
Execute cost reduction projects.
Manage order processing and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Education and profile As our ideal candidates you have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Economics and a solid 3 - 5 years experience in Procurement function, preferably in multinational companies.
Requirements & Skills Good knowledge and understanding of strategic procurement methodologies and spend analysis.
Strong negotiation abilities, project management skills and an analytical approach.
Understand and ensure the importance of compliance and governance within the procurement processes.
Structured approach and with good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Keen to work with different cultures and geographies.
Excellent communication skills in English and Italian are mandatory.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
Availability for occasional business travel.
The role is based in Fabriano (Marche region) or Agrate Brianza (Lombardy region) with the opportunity of some remote working (in a hybrid environment).
