We are in contact with local, regional, and global finance and procurement teams.
Our services include collecting and analyzing company spend data and commercial sourcing management in order to achieve the best contractual conditions.Partner with the bestYou will lead the supplier strategy for the assigned commodity, in collaboration with all internal stakeholders, and you will be responsible for the related execution.
Elaboration of process improvements are expected, taking into consideration the broader functional context.
Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.As Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:Developing and executing long-term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for NPI and OTR procurement.Integrating commodity strategies into product leadership, engineering, and manufacturing objectives.Defining and executing commodity strategy to support main service drivers such as on-time delivery and convertibility.Partnering and serving as a point of reference for Manufacturing and Engineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity (e.g., make/buy; BCC; etc).Developing negotiation strategies and leading negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives of supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership.Negotiating and issuing purchase orders with suppliers, achieving the lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs.Developing sourcing initiatives for cost-out programs, deflation, cycle reduction, BCC sourcing, and cash flow improvement (e.g., rebate, payment terms).Leveraging SOP data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economics with some experience in procurement or commodity management.Be fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.Have excellent all-round communication and influencing skills.Have an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.Show a positive attitude to embrace change and see challenges as opportunities.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best varies.
