Role Overview: As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Procurement Manager and ensuring the success of our community campaigns, both in Italy and internationally. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of supplier management, product selection, data analytics, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Supplier Management Support the Procurement Manager in their daily tasks. Reach out to both existing and new suppliers for company evaluation and product portfolio management. Identify new sources in countries that are participating in or running community and catalogue campaigns and assist in the onboarding process. Rewards Assist in product selection to meet the client's requirements. Manage the product portfolio, conduct price comparisons, and handle negotiations. Coordinate quality checks and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements. Analyse the post-campaign performance of suppliers. Stay updated on sourcing insights and product innovations. Reporting and Analysis Generate reports and analyses on supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Evaluate product performance, identify bestsellers, and contribute to the development of strategies. Prepare reports and presentations for management purposes. Minimum Requirements: Fluency in English, Italian, and German or French (desirable) 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role within the sourcing, trading, or retail industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong command of Excel and PowerPoint. Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proven problem-solving abilities and a knack for "out of the box" thinking. Self-motivated, well-organized, and adaptable to a dynamic environment. A collaborative team player with the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels. A creative thinker with a strong interest in innovation and emerging trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a can-do attitude.
