The successful candidate will specialize in Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) for offshore wind projects and will be based in the scenic city of Taranto. This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in the wind power sector to manage procurement activities and contribute to the success of offshore wind projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for WTG components, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers to secure the best terms and maintain a reliable supply chain.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project requirements.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to support strategic decision-making.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
Key RequirementsExperience: 3-5 years of experience in the wind power sector is essential.
Qualifications: A relevant procurement qualification is required.
Languages: Proficiency in two or more EU languages is highly beneficial.
