**Job Summary**:
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing both direct and indirect procurement across South Europe. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership and fostering supplier relationship to optimize cost and secure supply. Business partner for market area and project centre management teams.
**What you will do**:
As our new Procurement Manager, you will be responsible to:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for spend categories under management that align with business objectives and operational needs in South Europe.
- Manage sourcing, contracting and supplier base management. Drive cost savings, quality, delivery and service performance of external supplier base
- Manage procurement for customers projects from sales phase thru implementation and completion. Work closely with project management and engineering teams. Define project sourcing strategy and procurement plans.
- Lead the procurement team of senior supply managers and buyers, driving high performance, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient procurement processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement practices, leveraging technology and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with Tetra Pak group policies and procedures as well as local and international procurement regulations and standards, maintaining ethical procurement practices.
**We believe you have**:
- Degree in Procurement Management, engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent. Strong technical background is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 year experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of the procurement landscape in South Europe, particularly in Italy and Iberia, with an established network of suppliers.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
