In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home!All about the role: Within the Group Procurement Organization, Procurement Category Manager has the key responsibility of awarding new businesses, in close collaboration with the Global Categories.Our mission is to ensure the award of businesses to the best suppliers through project negotiations, using advanced tools as refined cost models, Supplier Development methodologies, etc., fulfilling the targets of cost, quality and flexibility.We operate in all the regions (Business Areas) with a panel of international suppliers engaging them with our internal business partners as: Sales, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing & Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, Finance etc.We rely on building strong cooperation. We focus on innovation, quality and development of long-term relationships with our strategic suppliers. For sure it represents a fantastic growth experience where you can learn from all the different activities we need to manage.What you will do: Global Product Line Category ownership for all Business Areas managing the business strategically with the objective to leverage and promote complexity reduction, modularization, cost performance and innovation initiatives, drive LTAs negotiation, sourcing process and decisions in close collaboration with the Global Domain Managers and key stakeholders (Product Line, Quality, Manufacturing, Design), cost analysis etc.Support the New Product Initiatives.Develop and retain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Manage and evaluate contractual agreement terms to ensure compliance and comply with sourcing procedures.Support Programs in line with Purchasing strategy.Who you are: Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Management, or Equivalent.Minimum 3-5 years of relevant strategic sourcing, category management or equivalent leadership experience required as well as target oriented.Proven track record managing and delivering cost reductions/value creation.Experience and knowledge of the purchasing environment with the capability to analyse business procurement issues, recommend solutions and strategies, and implement change.Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing methodology and its application.Ability to manage supplier relationships, including relationship building and performance management.Results-oriented and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain good cross-functional working relationships.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Fluent in English.Where you'll be:You'll be based in an international context in the central office for Procurement in Europe in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice.Benefits include: Flexible work hours/hybrid work model.Dynamic and collaborative environment.World-class learning opportunities and flexible career path.Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services.As part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
