Position Statement: The Procurement Executive - Food & Beverage (Italy) is primarily a Food & Beverage Buyer role, focused on helping the company stay competitive in this category.
You will be responsible for sourcing quality products, negotiating with suppliers, and securing the best deals.
Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the purchasing of Food & Beverage products, ensuring they meet established quality standards at the best possible cost, in line with company standards and operational needs.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and cost savings, while aligning with Hilton standards, operational needs, and purchasing best practices.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other teams to align procurement with company goals.
Provide functional and operational support to corporate, cluster, and hotel purchasing teams across the region.
Ensure the implementation and optimal use of procurement tools like BirchStreet and Coupa Smart Spend.
Provide system support and training to internal and external stakeholders as needed to maximize productivity.
What We're Looking For: Around 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within a multi-site or corporate environment, preferably in hospitality.
Fluent in English and Italian .
Familiarity with the Food & Beverage category, with some experience in buying.
Good math skills for comparing costs and managing budgets.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage hands-on tasks.
Ability to visually inspect product specifications to ensure quality.
