NES Fircroft are looking for an Onshore C&P Procurement and Freight Expeditor to work for a Major oil and gas operator on a huge LNG project.
Onshore Procurement and Freight expeditor is responsible to perform simple procurement, conduct expediting duties, analyse and monitor freight activities related to the management of the EPC contracts for Onshore package of the LNG project.

Key responsibilities:
Main duties
Ensure that the EPC Contract procurement and freight related activities are performed in accordance with the agreed contractual terms and conditions and Company procedures:
Review and comment monthly analysis of EPC Contractor Contract Material Status report
Expedite, monitor, control and report all procurement activities conducted by EPC Contractor in coordination with Engineering team and QA QC lead
Share any planning risks with Project Control team
Analyse and review freight profile of EPC Contractor (i.e., sub contractor equipment, aggregate, construction material, fuel, etc.)
Analyse and review TBL utilization study based on readiness of the berth at TBL and MOF versus EPC Contract equipment readiness for shipment and challenge CTR for mitigation of any potential unloading bottlenecks at Site.
Propose appropriate freight forwarding strategy for CPY items considering EPC Project occupation of the unloading facilities (route, vessel type, etc.) to enhance material delivery at site.
Establish contractual correspondence, logs and filing related to Procurement expediting activities
Control the progress / milestones in view of monthly payment release to Contractor
Reporting and informing transversal entities (i.e., Construction, Freight, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Project Control…) of scheduled completion for the EPC Contract Purchase Order and shipments associated
Monitoring EPC Contractor international shipment activities, liaising with TEPMA1 air/land/port and with technical logistics on all operational matters when necessary
Prior to Sea Shipment ensure and coordinate mobilization of Marine Warranty Surveyor
Ensuring EPC Contractor custom clearance readiness and documentary conformity prior to shipment and at arrival
Liaise effectively with administrative logistics (custom relations) in the effort to secure relevant permits, approvals and shipping documentation for the Freight Forwarding function
Skills and Qualifications:
Experienced with EPC/EPCC international Projects, Procurement, Freight and strong knowledge in project execution and proven experience in Oil & Gas project
Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics; Business school or equivalent.
Professional experience: 10 years – minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
Knowledge of Procurement / Expediting / Freight Forwarding development and administrative process in a project environment, in an international context
Skills to administrate multi-support reports, multitask coordination and interfacing with transversal stakeholders
Problem Solving and planning / coordinating / organizing / reporting / controlling.
Languages: good command of English mandatory.
