Partner with the best As a Process Quality Engineer, you will act as the cell focal point of Gas Turbine Line. You shall drive the line to meet quality goals in terms of Cost of Quality (COQ), defect count, and Quality Management System (QMS) compliance.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading the Gas Turbine Product Line establishing and maintaining a high level of quality within the product line through effective initiation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), corrective action, statistical process control, quality plans, work station audits, and overall quality initiatives. Providing answers to customer issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action plans. Driving the Line towards defects/COQ and defect reduction, characterizing the recurrent causes and the consequent corrective/preventive actions, involving all the impacted functions and those which generated the Non-Conformity. Leading reviews with COE leaders to monitor Quality programs execution and Quality indicators performance. Keeping connection with Florence and Massa Plant ENG & Quality team to align MFG processes and share quality initiatives/issues. Verifying the implementation and the efficiency of the actions through the subsequent analysis of defects. Guaranteeing that the process for Non-Conformity management and Punch List is correctly applied and that the Non-Conformity Report (eNCR) is appropriately documented. Driving and assuring special and critical processes qualification & control. Driving and maintaining qualification of farm-in and farm-out activities. Driving and maintaining surveillance and audits process for farm-in and farm-out activities. Quality Assurance for the production line, ensuring that all functions are committed to ISO standards. Hold a Bachelor's degree in STEM Subject. Be able to analyze problems and identify root causes. Show good experience in Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering. Display Technical knowledge. Be available to travel. Be fluent in Italian and English. Hold a EU Work Permit. Be able to work in a global environment. Show knowledge of welding process. Display a multitask approach. Have a change agent and self-starter attitude. Show a positive and collaborative approach and courage. Show a critical approach.
