Objective:Within the IT / Digital & Process Innovation direction, ensures a proper structured approach to business processes management and guarantees the related continuous efficiency and effectiveness improvement, by defining methodology to be adopted by company departments to maintain processes repository, analyze and challenge current status quo in order to define re-engineering and improvement actions.
Act as a facilitating business partner to support the several company departments in taking transformative actions to improve their efficiency in daily operations or develop new business opportunities to facilitate company digital transformation by collaborating with IT & Digital organization.Could act as project manager for complex process improvement/definition actions across departments.Main tasksGovernance & OrganizationDefine a process management system with guidelines to structure a proper development of strategic initiatives;Define company standards (and related documents/templates) to be adopted by all departments to map and set up processes repository and describe related AS IS and TO BE status;Accountability to set up a proper process management governance model and orchestrate it in order to involve all needed parties for a structured process funnel evaluation with relevant gates of approval based on periodical process steering evaluation – facilitator for the Process Advisory Board (including company Directors);Contributes in business case definition with business departments to evaluate pros/cons of process optimization effort.ExecutionOwnership of the overall company processes portfolio in order to define strategy for striving for optimization;Acts as a pivot and coach for the several company departments in running BPA/BPR to identify inefficiencies and set the right challenging quality level to stimulate the improvement in a Kaizen or lean six-sigma logic;Keeps relationships with the various relevant business stakeholders to ensure an effective process-oriented approach in business partnership logic and provides assistance in the preparation and development of the required process improvement initiatives;Accountability for ensuring a proper process analysis formalization.
He/She also prepares needed documentation to complete formalization;Help company departments in building a processes-oriented vision/approach and in defining priorities of interventions based on criticality/urgency of improvement – process efficiency evaluation matrix à Develop a roadmap for processes transformation;Monitoring & Controlling of process re-engineering actions, he/she can have a project manager role in matrix logic with involved relevant departments.Other departments interactionsIs one of the main partners, together with business process owner, of the IT & digital Demand management team when it comes to IT change as process improvement requires also an IT implementation;In case IT change is also involved, he/she is responsible for providing requirements to be then defined and finalized with IT & digital Demand and Applications teams;Interacts with all company departments who need to work on BPA/BPR.
