YOUR ROLE
Job description (job content)
The main objectives of the position are:
- Management of a team of Thermal Treatments (TT) Process Engineering people
- Guarantee TT tools uptime and tool performance aligned to targets
- Ensure TT area processes robustness and stability
- Management of troubleshooting in case of process Out-Of-Control or drift
- Definition and management of TT Equipment Control Plan and Product Control Plan
- Definition and management of TT tool alarms and FDC strategy
- Define strategies and priorities of area procedures release and management
- Coordinate trainings of manufacturing people about (new) procedures, in collaboration with IPM
- New tools selection, R3TPD definition and release planning
- New tools start-up management
- Improve TT tools and processes performances in term of COO, defectivity, OEE, MTBC,..., in collaboration with Industrial Engineering
- Manage the development or the transfer of new processes to improve performances or to meet new technologies requirements, according to Device/PROC. development or process transfer groups
- Manage the relationships with tool suppliers and with ST's partner companies, duly considering aspects of confidentiality and priority management.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Education level required: 5 - master's degree Scientific degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Engineering or Similar
Experience level required: preferred 5 years' experience in the role
Strong Leadership skills
Scientific method approach
Strong problem-solving ability
Flexibility and sense of urgency in priorities management
Teamwork ability, also with teams working in other sites
Statistical skill
Languages English: 2- Business fluent
