Your Role Mission Reporting into the Engineering Leader located in Italy, the Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and improving the efficiency of the organisations manufacturing and industrialization processes.
The role ensures the smooth functioning of production lines, develops new techniques, modifies existing designs, and coordinates process improvement projects.
The primary responsibilities of the role include: Analysing existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Implementing solutions to enhance operational performance.
Interacting with all teams involved in the manufacturing process.
Evaluating workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing innovative solutions to improve productivity and quality.
Implementing lean manufacturing principles, conducting process audits, and developing SOPs.
Defining the electrochemical and control processes to ensure the optimal capacity of our Electrolyzers.
Your Scope Daily Tasks Drafting and development of PFD, PID, and material balance.
Drafting of key Process Documents and finding the best solutions for process optimization.
Selection and process sizing of plant equipment.
Supporting the Project Manager and Product Engineer in the alignment phase with the customer by participating in technical meetings.
Supervising plant start-up procedures by personally supervising commissioning and start-up if required.
Preparation of operating manuals and plant start-up procedures.
Management of process data in the bidding phase.
Depending on seniority level, coordinate the activities of project teams in the role of Project Specialist Leader.
Your Profile Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering.
Previous experience of 3+ years originating from the hydrogen generation and deployment sector is considered a plus.
Good knowledge of English is mandatory, French is a plus.
Excellent autonomy and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team of diverse skills, background, and approach.

Working Conditions: Contract type details: Permanent contract, full-time, depending on the seniority starting with C3 level of Industria Metalmeccanica CCNL.
Location: San Miniato (PI) - smart working 40-60.
Remuneration: €30,000 - €40,000 + 10% MBO + profit sharing.
Travel requirement: Occasional visits to parent company and providers' sites.
