Your role & mission Reporting into the Engineering Leader located in Italy, the Process Engineer is responsible for optimising and improving the efficiency of the organisation's manufacturing and industrialization processes.
The role ensures the smooth functioning of production lines, develops new techniques, modify existing designs and coordinate process improvement projects.
The primary responsibilities of the role include analysing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational performance, subsequently it is vocationally cross-functional and as such interacts with all teams involved in the manufacturing process, evaluating workflows, identifying bottlenecks and proposing innovative solutions to improve productivity and quality.
The role is also responsible is also responsible for the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, conducting process audits and developing SOP's.
Closing up on the core activity of McPhy's, the Process Engineer is in charge of defining the electrochemical and control processes to ensure the optimal capacity of our Electrolyzers.
Your scope & daily tasks Drafting and development of PFD, P&ID and material balance Drafting of key Process Documents and finding the best solutions for process optimisation Selection and process sizing of plant equipment Supporting the Project Manager and Product Engineer in the alignment phase with the customer by participating in technical meetings Supervising plant start-up procedures by personally supervising commissioning and start-up if required Preparation of operating manuals and plant start-up procedures Management of process data in the bidding phase Depending on seniority level, co-ordinate the activities of project teams in the role of Project Specialist Leader.
