A Day in the Life Careers that Change Lives As Process Engineer and a member of the Operational Excellence team at the Mirandola facility, you will have responsibility for the execution of process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site.
You will help the OpEx leader to drive the operations strategy for the Mirandola site, fostering a continuous improvement mindset in the factory and developing and training employees to enhance their lean manufacturing skills.
We serve our Respiratory Intervention Operating Unit to deliver solutions and products preventing the onset and improving the management of respiratory failure.
Key Responsibilities Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma), including plant re-layout projects, 5S, DFMA, VSM (Value Stream Map), Root Cause/Corrective Action analysis, Cp/Cpk, FPY, standardization, and cost reduction initiatives.
Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Collects data to identify root causes of problems.
Measures performance against process requirements.
Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Applies statistical techniques, data mining, and direct observations to evaluate processes and performance.
Must Haves Bachelor's degree or Technical high school certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant operations and/or manufacturing experience with 3+ years of continuous improvement/lean manufacturing experience, or Technical high school certification with a minimum of 8 years of relevant operations and/or manufacturing experience with 4+ years of continuous improvement/lean manufacturing experience.
Master Lean Six Sigma GREEN belt certified.
Excellent knowledge of Excel for data analysis.
Good knowledge of Microsoft environment.
Minitab proficiency.
PowerBI proficiency.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Nice to Haves Prior Medical Device/Pharma or Automotive experience.
Strong background in manufacturing/operations role.
Strategic mindset with the ability to focus on critical actions.
Highly influential and able to sell ideas and approaches.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and project management skills.
Solid coaching and mentoring competency.
Able to influence change without direct authority.
