About the Role We are looking for a Process Engineer for our Cogeneration plant in Alba. By covering this role, you will fit into the maintenance context where over 400 people work. Since 2014, the Utilities area has acquired a cogeneration plant that, in addition to servicing the entire plant (which is larger than 30 football fields), also handles the district heating for the city of Alba. The plant, coordinated by a manager and 5 team leaders, needs a brilliant engineer to follow it with entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sense of commitment. Main Responsibilities: Handle management and certification systems (ISO 14001 and 50001) to ensure environmental and energy compliance. Support Energy Management processes, including plant data verification, reporting, and instrument calibration. Assist in the recognition of high-efficiency cogeneration (CAR) with GSE and support the transfer operations of registry titles (green certificates, TEE or white certificates, CO2 quotas). Create production forecast models and prepare monthly KPI reports. Provide technical operational support and verify market indices and emissions trading values. Oversee integrated environmental permitting and manage customs and public administration practices. Manage the plant's continuous emissions system and verify QAL2 and QAL3 calibrations. Implement technical changes to the SME system and generate purchase requisitions. Procure materials, services, and supplies. Who We Are Looking For: You will bring your Master's Degree background in Energy, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering with some experience in the energy sector. Your motivation, passion for innovation and continuous improvement, and your curiosity will be the key to perform in this role. As a good communicator, your fluency in both Italian and English will be key to perform in our environment, along with your people management skills, which will be useful to enable effective coordination of teams and collaboration across different corporate functions.
