As a leader, you'll spearhead improvement projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Responsibilities Include: Optimizes Manufacturing processes to: Improve Usages Minimize Wastes Increase capacity and production rates Reduce Batch Times Increase productivity Improve Process Stability Reduce Energy Consumption Improve product quality Develop the Process Engineering Package (PFD, P&ID, process specifications, material and energy balances, description of DCS control logics). Develops debottlenecking projects, capacity increase projects, and projects for the introduction and industrialization of new products. Ensures the Continuous Improvement of plant efficiency (OEE). Ensures the implementation of VCP projects and productivity programs. Ensures production procedures are clearly written and updated. Provides training on procedures to operational staff. Defines process operating parameters, operation flows, and machine set-up. Monitors daily production (quality, quantity, and yield) and provides the necessary instructions for correcting/preventing any deviations from normality, to achieve targets, and set the production plan and budget. Ensures the execution of SAP production confirmations. Develops software systems, spreadsheets, process, and production monitoring systems to improve efficiencies. Interfaces with the production and maintenance supervisors to resolve plant anomalies and troubleshoot machine failures. Coordinates Investigation Reports and Cause Mapping for Process, Production, Safety, Environmental and Quality issues. Supports the site to divulgate the Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement/LEAN/6-Sigma culture. Implements Six Sigma, CI, 5S, Lean, and Operational Excellence programs. Maintains relations with other plants and ensures the implementation of Best Practices and initiatives required by the corporation. Ensures the implementation of quality and EHS programs (ISO45001, EMAS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001). Responsible for Safety Analyses, Process Safety, and PSM programs. Coordinates Project Design Safety Review and Pre-Start Up Safety Review. Participates in PHA/HAZOP analysis. Qualifications: The following are required for the role:
Master's degree in chemical engineering. First work experience including apprenticeships, etc. Teamwork and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. English and Italian language skills. The following are preferred for the role:
Knowledge of Six Sigma/ Lean/ Continuous Improvement tools will be highly considered. Knowledge and experience with problem-solving techniques. Experience in high-risk industries (Seveso). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to cope with setbacks/demonstrate agility.
