About the RoleJoin our vibrant team as a Process Engineer at the Lucca 1 Plant. Reporting directly to the Operations Leader, you will perform crucial tasks for the plant's operations. The Plant employs approximately 150 individuals and houses two double-width Tissue Machines (inclusive of a cogeneration unit), along with a converting department for folded products such as Hankies and Napkins.
Your role will be situated within the converting department, offering you the opportunity to manage our machine processes and process control systems, ensuring their reliable operation daily.
What You Will DoAssume responsibility for and manage the enhancement of troubleshooting abilities among professionals in manufacturing.
Act as a subject matter expert for machine processes, providing expertise and guidance.
Actively participate in or lead Continuous Improvement projects.
Identify and support projects aimed at improving long-term productivity, waste reduction, quality, and safety performance.
Manage safety-oriented processes for yourself and your team members.
Apply established engineering principles to manufacture high-quality tissue-based consumer products.
Perform standard technical tasks and prepare operation sheets accordingly.
Monitor production processes and work methods, collecting, compiling, and analyzing production data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Learn to troubleshoot using root cause analysis methodology.
Drive projects to support continuous improvement initiatives and achieve set deliverables.
Who You AreDegree in Engineering or related field
Minimum six months of experience in production processes
Ability to lead teams in change and improvement initiatives
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles, production technologies, and methodologies.
Problem-Solving: Data analysis, identification, and resolution of problems or inefficiencies.
Teamwork: Effective collaboration and communication with colleagues and departments.
