Responsibilities: Responsible for development of new and improved processes for custom polymer compounds, including scale up and process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and communication of results. Primary contact with Manufacturing for writing and communication of production specifications. Coordinates with manufacturing partners to establish quality and testing conditions for established Avient products. Participates in the development of scale up, process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and/or communication of results. Documentation and preparation of product specifications for manufacturing Avient products. Participates in resolution of plant production issues. Education and Experience: Mechanical Engineer or Chemical Engineer. 3 years of direct, relevant experience. Additional Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma certified preferred.
