Process Engineer (Ref.TN/ PE-ENG-DWN)

We are looking for a young Process Engineer willing to join our Team to coordinate together with the project manager the technical relation with the customer, to find the best design and compromise in terms of cost saving and respect of contract.
You will carry on the following activities: Plan the engineering activities for process and participate in the overall project planning and scheduling. Participate in the Kick-off Meeting and other technical meetings with the client if required. Material and thermal balance development with internal excel reference spreadsheets. P&ID's development. Technical specifications and datasheets development for instruments and equipment involved in the process treatments. Commercial equipment (pumps, fans, heat exchangers, etc.) and Instrument (control and on-off valves, manual valves, process instruments, etc.) selection. Package unit technical specifications development and selection (scrubbers, evaporators, filtration units, etc.). Layout studies and technical specifications development for mechanical equipment involved in process (reactors, tanks, tunnels, etc.). Technical specifications, selection and follow-up of structural, mechanical and piping engineering outsourced. Ensure flow of information between engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, piping, structural, electrical, automation, etc.). Function and HMI pages description development for automation with relevant follow-up. Tackle and solve design problems with the client/partners and the Site, relying upon specialist support. Elaborate/control, in compliance with contractual conditions, the technical specification and bill of materials to be sent to Purchase/production. Cooperate with the project manager in the activities of search, selection and qualification of suppliers. Verify with the project manager the monthly progress of the project, assuring the implementation of any corrective action that may be needed. Training of client's personnel, commissioning and process parameters tuning of the process systems at site up to final acceptance. Required profile: Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Preferably at least 2/3 years of experience in a similar role; knowledge of plants and machinery for reheating furnaces or strip processing industry is a value added. Willingness to frequent worldwide travel with permanence periods up to 2 months or more. Fluent in English, written and spoken is mandatory. Good inter-personal skills in combination with a strong self-supporting/independent character. Excellent interpersonal skills with good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments.
