Process Development Engineer (Machining Area)

Job Description You will participate in the Technical Functions Department supporting the team on the journey toward the electrification of automotive products. You will work in the process development team of machining processes for the industrial production of automotive mechatronic pumps. You will work on:

Selecting machining processes for internal production and release to series production. Improving existing machining processes to improve plant KPI. Leading the innovation change in series and prototype by using CAD-CAM tools. Engaging in digital projects to contribute to the development of lean and digital processes in the machining area. You will live in an international environment having relationships with different cultures.

Qualifications Education: Graduated in Mechanical, Industrial, Engineering or similar;

Personality: Goal-orientation, team working, proactivity, problem solving, analytical skills, flexibility, and willingness to take responsibilities;

Technical know-how: Knowledge of machining processes (turning, milling, grinding), CNC simulation & programming, robot & CAD/CAM will be considered a plus;

Technical SW knowledge: Microsoft Office package; CAD and 3D modeling; knowledge of CAD-CAM SW, machining CNC Fanuc/Siemens; digital tools like PowerBi & Outsystem will be a plus;

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial areas dealing with machining processes. Knowledge of project management tools, P-FMEA and problem-solving methods will be considered a plus;

Interests: Desire to grow within a complex manufacturing organization open to an international environment;

Language skills: Good level of English.
