Find your purpose and passion at Mozarc Medical.A Day in the Life The Principal Technical Sourcing Engineer will be involved in the development of innovative products that will change the way renal care is delivered to patients around the world.
As the Principal Sourcing Engineer, you will be the primary sourcing point of contact to Technology and NPD Project Teams aligning the Product and Supplier Technology Roadmaps.
You will be a key member of our Product Development Operations Technical Sourcing team, primarily responsible for sourcing polymers, films, chemicals, and automated capital equipment.You will manage supplier interactions on New Product Introduction programs by:Knowing and communicating sourcing risks early in the development cycle to drive mitigating designs and or focused Supplier Development.Driving Supplier Evaluation, Selection, Development, Qualification, and Product Launch Ramp-up aligned with team milestones.Identifying potential new sources in Technologies where existing relationships do not yet exist.Documenting & managing overall Project Sourcing Strategies.Reporting out at each progressive Phase Gate.Tracking and managing supplied component Quality, Supply Risk, Material Cost, Response / Lead Time, & Technology advancement for the full Device Bill of Material, (for both the new and legacy components).Managing and coordinating all Sourcing Project Deliverables.Must Have:Bachelor's degree in engineering.Min.
7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.Min.
2 years of experience in a sourcing, project management, or product development role.Nice to Have:Experience in polymer, chemical, capital equipment sourcing.Knowledge of applicable FDA/GMP and International medical device regulations and standards.Experience in medical device or pharma industry.Working knowledge of Technical Sourcing.Knowledge of ISO Standards.PMI Certified.ISM Certified.Knowledge with specific technologies to applicable categories.Lean Sigma experience.Willingness to travel 10 – 15%.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Is this the position you were waiting for?
