Wood is recruiting for a Principal Project Engineer to join its Technical Consulting – Process and Chemical – Technology and Products team focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex Fired Heaters in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries.
The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role You will assist the Project Manager in the coordination of the engineering team, and you will prepare multidisciplinary documents which require interaction with several technical disciplines.
You will attend technical project reviews with Client as well as with Sub-suppliers.
You will be in charge also for technical tabulations of the quotations received from potential Sub-suppliers.
You will be responsible for the timely document submission to client and to ensure all Client's comments will be captured in the design.
You will also pay periodical visits to Sub-suppliers workshops to check the status of the orders.

Typical Requirements for the Position We are looking for skilled engineers with 10-15 years of experience in a similar role.
